Retirement

The mandatory retirement age for all civil servant is 56. However, private organizations have different schemes and requirements which will determine the retirement age for their employees.

Having a good plan for your retirement will allow you to prepare for the challenges that come with it.

While some people can retire and seek for social and recreational pursuits, there may be others who would have to continue working. In any case, careful planning will enable you to retire more comfortably and with less anxiety.

Prior to your retirement, you may want to get your paperwork done in order to get pension payments or your EPF withdrawal quickly. Again, it is never too early to design a retirement strategy and you can begin the moment you start working.
