Company Auditing

Companies Act 1965, Section 8 requires a company to appoint an approved company’s auditor. The auditor must:

  • Not be indebted to the company, its holding company or subsidiaries in an amount exceeding RM 2,500
  • Not a partner nor employer nor an employee of the audited company
  • Should not be a shareholder or a spouse of the shareholder to the audited company.
