The Road Transport Department (Jabatan Pengangkutan Jalan) (Malay version only), an agency under the Ministry of Transport, is entrusted to manage all matters relating to land transport regulations.  These laws are aimed at protecting road users and regulating the land transportation business in Malaysia.
