Electricity supply in Malaysia is dominated by three major utility companies, namely Tenaga Nasional Berhad (TNB) in Peninsular Malaysia, Sabah Electricity Sdn. Bhd.(SESB) in Sabah and Syarikat SESCO Berhad in Sarawak. 

Also in the market with these major utility companies are a number of independent power producers (IPP)s.
