Research and Development (R&D) is an important area in the advancement of the commodity and plantation industry in Malaysia.  The R&D activities are aimed at improving the quality of crops, discovering new products, creating new machineries or new processes; and providing satisfactory yields to end- users.  Successful implementation of R&D findings will ultimately result in the increased productivity of the industry.
