Malaysia’s import needs have helped forged strong bilateral trade relations with many countries in Asia, Africa, America, Australasia, Europe and West Asia.  These trade counterparts provide Malaysia with a variety of imports such as electronics, machinery, vehicles, chemicals, plastics, petroleum products, iron and steel products, among many others.

The Ministry of International Trade and Industry offers trade facilitation services to assist Malaysian importers.  Meanwhile, the Royal Malaysian Customs and other related government agencies have established rules and procedures for Malaysian importers.
